Sugar AlcoholsSugar alcohols do not count towards your daily net carbs. This product does contain 6g of Sugar alcohols which this site does not accurately portray. 17g of carb - 9 fiber-6 sugar alcohol = 2 net carbs. Be careful of the amount of sugar alcohols you consume as this can affect the speed of your weight loss and can make you feel bloated. Written by T on Wed 8 Feb 2012 3:31:16 PM GMT
If your advantage bar has 17g carbs and 9 g fiber how can it be 3 net grams. I am in phase 1 and have Dr. Atkins book. Please help me understand about net carbs. I just don't see how the Atkins Advantage has 3 g net carbs.
Are you telling me that on the Induction diet that your total carbs per day can not exceed 20 g that if I was to have an Atkins Advantage Bar w/3 g net carbs I would have 17 g left for the day. Also nuts eg. 9 g carbs 6 g fibe the net would be 3 is this right?
