A delicious frosted brownie mix that is a real treat - chocolate and peanuts. If you love chocolate and peanuts, this low carb treat has such a special flavor and crunch that it will remind you of a classic tin roof sundae - just without the carbs. These brownies are so easy to make - just add an egg and butter. Freeze leftovers within a couple days for up to 2 months. Serve at room temperature for a creamy frosting - its a luscious chocolate dessert experience.

Makes a 9"x 9" pan of brownie bars - 9 servings, just 3 net carbs per serving. Optional (see label): Add a sugar free peanut butter layer under the chocolate frosting for a chocolate peanut-butter version.

Size: 9.2 oz.

Ingredients: Dry roasted peanuts, whey protein, low glycemic monosaccharide, vegetable fiber, dried egg whites, chocolate, cocoa butter, cocoa powder, soy lecithin, dehulled soy beans, baking powder (calcium acid phosphate, bicarbonate of soda, corn starch), carrageenan, cream of tartar, low glycemic fruit concentrate, vanilla powder, sucralose.

Recommended Use: FOR CAKE YOU WILL NEED:1/2 stick (4 tablespoons) of UNSALTED butter, 1 large or extra large egg, 1/3 cup water. FOR FROSTING YOU WILL NEED:1/2 stick of UNSALTED butter (4 tablespoons), 2 tablespoons cool water. OPTIONAL:1/3 cup of peanut butter. Move oven rack to center and preheat to 350 degrees. FOR CAKE: In medium sized microwave sake bowl, melt contents of bag #2 (chocolate) with butter on high for 1 minute. Add contents of bag #1, mix to the melted and butter along with the egg and water. Stir with spoon 1-2 minutes until well mixed and spoon into greased 8" x 8" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 14 - 16 minutes (ovens may vary) just until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan. Do not overbake. Let cool and spoon peanut butter (if using) lightly over the top and speadwith knife. TO PREPARE FROSTING:Mix bag #3 with softened butter and water for a minute until smooth and creamy. Top with spoons full of frosting and lightly spread with knife over peanut butter layer/brownies. Refrigerate bars. Freeze within 3 days for up to 2 months, but serve at room temprature.
